Just installed my new wheels, tires and big brake kit. Apex Arc-8 in satin black with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I went with Wilwood BBK in black. Suspension is still stock. No issues at all with rubbing. I took a couple quick cell phone pics. Better ones to come.

Wheel specs: 17x9 with 42 offset 17.8 pounds
Tire specs: 245/40 17

I had Apex wheels on my BMW 135i.

These are awesome wheels! Very lightweight.

Looks really good! Where did you buy? direct from Apex?

sonnydelight 08-15-2014 11:52 AM

Oh man... these look great! I think I've made up my mind on my dd/track wheels!

So, we can get 17X9's et42 with 245/40's without rubbing on the strut???

It's exactly what I want, but thought I needed coilovers, or a lower 30ish offset.

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm really happy with my choice...size,weight and looks.
I did buy them direct from Apex, purchased from Ryan. Excellent customer service
and quick shipping.

You can rock that with the stock struts, but you're not going to be able to really dial in any useful negative camber in the front.
