Need help deciding on a setup
Hello all, I got my 2014 brz a couple months ago and I have done some modification, coils, wheels, ect. But now if is time for some forced induction. I pledge no loyalty to any kit or setup and while I have done countless hours of research I still have no clue what I want to do. So my question is this. If you had 9k to spend on a setup how would you do it? Also any thoughts on lowering the compression of the engine for higher boost applications? The most important thing is that my engine does not blow up of course. Finally if anyone finds upgraded brakes to be important when increasing the subie's power feel free to include that. One does not have to spend the whole budget if they think the best option is less than that, 9k is simply the cap.

I have JR supercharger. My better half has full blown turbo. Both are awesome but she is faster.
Whatever you go with make sure you get a quality tuner. Can have best kit in the world but if the tune is shit motor go boom |
Cool, either of you run any supporting mods?

Full exhausts, oil coolers, she got new rad (can't remember off top of head which one). I have injectors and pump that still need to be installed.

Remember to get tires!

Full Blown base kit and the rest in a high yield savings account should anything go wrong and you need a new engine.
