Complete luck/timing! I was able to pick up an Asphalt Manual today. I was actually on my way to another dealer to look at a black manual and decided to pass by another dealer on the way. I dint see any on the lot and wanted to talk to the fleet manager about getting an eta on when a white one would be available. That's when she told me they just got a white and an asphalt off the truck. White was my first choice but was quickly converted when i saw the asphalt. The car is basic with no "add ons" and listed with no mark up. I was sold.

I only put a few miles but so far and its everything i was expecting based on all the reviews. Going to take it up the coast next month so hopefully I'll be past break in, its really hard to keep the car under 4K.

Congratulations! I almost bought an asphalt black myself. I was waiting on the whiteout when another dealer called me early morning on Memorial day. He said come on over we have an asphalt FRS that just arrived. That color does look good. I could have gone either way, but that stealership tacked on $2500 in options. I walked away and stuck with my whiteout, but I would be happy with either color. This car is so much fun to drive! I'm on staycation now, but I can't wait to start commuting in it.

How funny, I got my white one today, and they were also PDI'ing an Asphalt as well (and I was eyeballing it) lol
