Just got my grip tape shorty from Flossy. Took about 2 weeks from order to delivery. Love the feel of it when rowing through the gears.

Looks good. Can you post the "art" that goes with your engraving? Your review sold me :D

I will admit, these are pretty slick knobs, but the customer service is piss poor. NEVER AGAIN, just get a Moddiction Anvil and call it a day..

Assuming you've had both, can you compare the two knobs? Mainly wondering about the texture since they are both heavy.

Do you call your car Bozo now?

The red wrinkle powder coat provides identical textures for both, it's hard to tell the two apart on the outside. The Moddiction uses a brass threaded insert, while the Flossy has the threads cut right into the knob itself. The Moddiction fit my car MUCH better as it sat all the way down on the stick, while the flossy left a 1/4'' gap above the reverse lockout, which looked terrible. Also, my engraving was NOT center on my Flossy which really upset me considering the cost paid (center as in, centered on the axis, not meaning 'rotated correctly'). In my honest opinion, the Moddiction should be the one costing $110+ and the Flossy's around $80. Ryan Brecher at Moddiction is a true, stand up businessman, who is honest, and super easy to deal with. Never did I go even a day after emailing him without getting a response. Also he gave me his personal cell, and added me on Facebook saying if I ever needed anything else for the car, he would do what he can to take care of me. Chad (bossfloss) on the other hand didn't respond to even my first email until I filed a PayPal claim, and this was WEEKS after paying..

Sorry to thread dump, but I feel instances like this should be known..

A friend of mine has a flossy knob and I had the pleasure of using it for a week. It felt amazing. I loved it and ordered one of my own. Unfortunately, the customer service was piss poor. 2 months later, i still had no response on the status of my shift knob. Filed a paypal claim and still had no response. Finally had to go on their instagram and ask about the shift knob before they responded. It irritated me that they posted pics of new knobs but couldn't respond to me. They finally sent out my knob, and the quality was horrid. The powdercoating was chipped at the bottom. The engraving looked rushed and it didn't even fit our shift thread pattern. Emailed them again...no response and they blocked me on IG.

That being said...if you are lucky enough to get a knob from them, it's great. (Except for the POS they sent me) I personally went with Anarchy Motive after that, as they hooked me up after hearing about my ordeal, and I had constant communication every step of the way.

I just realized sometimes pics are better than videos. I was on Instagram earlier today and saw clear pics of the engraving. I couldn't see it in the vid.

Man these were one of the first shift knobs for the twins... Good review.
