If you last meet was like the ones I have attended (other car forums), you'll need people who can guide the others who will eventually fall behind and form fragmented groups.
-Walkie talkies for the lead car, someone in the middle, and someone in the back
-A spot to park and let everyone catch up...depending on the amount of cars that attend, this may be hard to find
-Lead driver that isn't going to just blow through the corners and leave everyone behind. The last drive I did in that area resulted in someone crashing and breaking a wheel. The lead driver just drove at the limits of his tires, people tried to keep up, someone crashed and the next 4 hours were people standing around waiting for him to get another wheel from a buddies house. My brake fluid felt like it had already boiled over after 4 minutes of driving in the mountain summer heat
-Tell everyone to gas up BEFORE getting the meet location. Its hard to get 10+ cars in a small gas station and then trying to get them all back on the same route is near impossible and pretty dangerous.
-Check with people to see if they have even driven the area before. Way too many corners that can catch people out if they're driving at a pace they aren't comfortable with.
Just some advice from the few times I've been to a ride along like this. Be safe out there and don't end up on one of the youtube videos of people running off the road.
