HAHA then sell it to me! lol I'm just trying to replace mine, I purchased my car from an auction, turns out the navi is missing. Maybe I don't know what I'm getting myself into! :bonk:

:laughabove: Ah, so you don't know how bad it is then!

In all seriousness I would suggest looking around before just going OEM. Personally I'd like to get an Android HU eventually but I'm just not sold on what's out there.

I really would recommend doing some searches on the forums on the OEM HU and read some of the complaints about it before you commit to getting one. Is it the worst one ever? Probably not... But its pretty close!

Hell just to give an example my Kia's UVO HU is more responsive, intuitive, and user friendly than the BRZ OEM. The Subaru unit is very sluggish, seems patched together, and overall just annoying to deal with. Considering this is 2014 it is a sad excuse of a HU... I mean it really feels like it was of the original nav units from the early/mid 2000s. (All my opinion, but others may chime in with their thoughts!)

Hope this helps!

It's 25k sports car - you aren't going to get a $5000k GPS headunit :)

But +1, the Android units out there now for $500+ are only decent. With Google announcing their Android Drive(?) project, getting a cheap OEM unit now isn't a bad idea to tie one over until the Android or IOS units come out.

ONe positive note on the OEM unit, the Bluetooth is pretty solid.
