As far as "spoofing" remissions readiness checks, this won't be anything we can or will provide. If the GM PCM would report the emissions tests as passing, the vehicle through the DLC will report them as well.

Ok, that's awesome, and was also the answer I was hoping to hear. Thanks :-)

Sounds like you got this pretty well figured out, we should see quite a few swaps this year.

This is pretty much a done deal , and in a cost effective emmisions passing as close to OEM way possible , those holding out to do the swap because of this have no excuse now. This technology is not can or manufacturer specific (import swaps are just a small portion of this market, off road enthusiasts have been waiting for this too)....it's can to can.....can to non-can.....or visa versa.....the magic is not so much in the device but in the work no one else but Colin seems to want to do and make it available to us mortals LOL!..... A shout out also needs to go to Colin's Boss Franz , who has allowed Colin to pursue this bug a boo that seems to stifle most everybody in the industry, when much bigger more lucrative solutions for his company need to be pursued.

If any of you are on the fence about who do go with as far as kit parts and electronic solutions ,let me share some of their backgrounds, as I'm a curious guy and ask questions, some times to my detriment , , Vorschlag owner and partners are degreed engineers, both Aero Space and mechanical , Mrs Electronics owner in their small branch office in Dayton has a PH.D in Physics and worked for Daimler Benz in Germany in research and development among many other things, amazing humble guy.... So you got some serious minds behind making a V8 work in a small Japanese car with these two companies , very easy choice for me.....it's like over kill, but I like over kill LOL!

This seems appropriate after @cf6mech's post.

Kind of apprehensive about posting this here, but more people are subscribed here. What do you think about this set-up plus an LS3 Fluidampr and Water Pump.

Looks good now put the post back up from yesterday by Vorshlag.

ILLSMOQ 11-18-2016 09:34 PM

Where did it go?

DustinS 11-19-2016 12:41 PM

Looks like all of his posts are now gone. Either he deleted them before he got banned while trying to work on Vendor status or Admin deleted them.

@DustinS It looks like that accessorie set up is for the truck crank pulley. The spacing is not what you want for this swap if it does use the truck pulley. If they have the Corvette setup it's the shortest other than running a Ls4 pulley not sure what combo of parts work best. Vorshlag knows
