IIRC, Full Blown had a dual pump setup. I can't find it on their website, but it might be worth talking to them.

I think Moto East has a surge tank setup to mask the problem with high HP cars. In purely guessing here, but wouldn't a 350hp turbo fa20 drink more than a NA LS? BSFC and all of that, I thought the smaller force fed engine would be less efficient...?

Also, I'm sure Element Tuning has some thing to fix the problem. There is no way in hell they haven't faced this issue and found a way to fix it.

Interesting now I need to go find a parking lot and start doing some serious left hand donuts lol.

I wish i could just replace it with a custom cell (not in the trunk)

89 civic hatch with a JDM sir swap.

Vorshlag knows what to tell the shop who builds it. They developed the thing so I wanted to support the shop.

I'm a little stiff. More concerned about a replacement car than my Heath. I know most people see it different I don't.

Anything burning E85 will definatly need a higher volume, which most of the high borsepower guys are using.

I've been chatting with Element on this problem. I'm boosted and around 1/4 tank the cannister set-up doesn't hold enough fuel to sustain boost. They've employed a dual pump setup by installing a pump in the siphon side of the saddle tank to feed into the canister. They use their ECM to control it, but turn it on when the main pump is running.

I've got a spare pump kicking around that I will be putting in wired directly onto the signal for the pump on the other side of the car. This should help keep the cannister charged better at lower fuel volumes.

I originally went passenger saddle pump to driver bucket and also return fuel from engine to bucket with of course bucket pump feeding engine......after thinking about it i decided that wasnt the way to go....i was worried about lower fuel levels and cavitation for that pump on the passenger side once the fuel gets lower as its not feeding anything but the bucket.....fuel helps cool the pump and lubricates impellar, runs dry early pump failure....wasnt sure either how the quantity floats would like it either.

So i went to both pumps feeding engine via a T fitting ensuring they alway have fuel to cool ,.....more than enough as no way it will ever need more draw than whats being pumped. So instead of the passenger feeding the driver's side they both just feed up to the engine? 2 of the stock pumps would give you like a 500LPH+ rate. Definitely won't run out of fuel like that lol. Would you not still have the canister issue at low fuel levels though, or I guess each pump would only pull 1/2 as much and have twice as long to feed the engine...

I'm going to have to look into setting it up like that.

Single pump will work great till about half a tank.....atleast in my case.

Maybe that's why I have not had issues. Since I'm still in Limp mode on the fuel gauge I usually fill her up no more than 70 miles past half. 😂😂. I got gun shy ran out of fuel one night on the Mass Turnpike.

I've recently blown my boosted FA20 because of fuel starvation below 1/4 tank(drag racing ...LOL), the simplest fix imho is a FBM Walbro 485 In tank kit ( Or the new Radium which i did not get a chance to test) feeding a surge tank.
