Body Kit Shops

Anyone know a shop or someone who is good with body panels. I've been having an issue with my 5AD kit since I bought it. When it gets cold the panel by the wheels starts to separate at the 3M. I wanted to know if you guys suggested anyone in the DFW to remove and readd the panels.

:thanks:

Just use some Goo-Gone and remove the adhesive and re-tape it. I've never done body work in my life and I put this kit on. Shops charge a complete rip off to install this. I had an issue with my side skirt where I had to pull it off and re-tape it. Took a little extra time, but I made sure it was lined up and done right. The rears of the side skirts don't sit fully flush with the tape which is why its important to really push down hard when taping the rear part on and then tapping it properly in the right spot.

Thanks Matt.

I know its hot as hell outside, but at least you can do the taping inside where its cool. It's a pain in the ass getting the adhesive off of the skirt though. 3M tape isn't meant to be removed so it takes some patience to get the old stuff off and the new stuff on. One of the great benefits of getting this kit from 5 Axis painted is they put all the 3M tape in place for you. I mounted my side skirt just a tad too high and my door wouldn't open. Lesson learned.

Thanks Patrick. I'll just have to find a way to drop the car off. I dont have the tools to actually clean and prep the car myself. blarg.

Pat beat me to it. But I can vouch for Tommy. He's been in the business for a long time. They have worked on my previous cars and warranty all their work.
