But a cop pulled me over and claimed I was flying around the corner recklessly which is nonsense.

"Officer, there was sand under my tires, and I haven't fully gotten the gist of driving stick yet. Would you mind directing me to an empty parking lot of some sort so I may continue to practice driving safely?"

Then you wink and show some skin. Works every time.

Fixed it for ya.

Well that tells them that you're even more dangerous on the road. I told him I was absolutely in control and posed no threat to any other drivers - nor would I ever put other drivers at risk. And he said he was actually looking for people not wearing seatbelts but I caught his attention. He actually seemed somewhat reasonable compared to most cops I have encountered which are hateful.

man thats BS. No way you cut that truck off. Plenty of time to turn and a safe turn :happy0180: cant wait to see your future posts!

:bellyroll: much better!

I look much younger than my age (a good 10 years younger) and after many years without a ticket I was pulled over twice in two weeks for doing 6 mph over in a 40 mph zone (in a line of cars all moving faster than me) and 6 mph over in a 60 mph zone. Both times I was told by the cop that they wouldn't have pulled me over if I hadn't looked so young. Having a WRX probably didn't help. Neither cop minded giving me a ticket anyway. I can't wait to see what happens when I'm driving a BRZ which is slower but looks faster.

Not reckless driving at all. Glad you didn't get a ticket!

Curious, but was that just wind noise with the gopro? Something doesn't sound right.

Not even close...that's a normal turn...there is no way the truck had to brake.

By the way...are you guys going to work with anyone about a tuning solution?

Riding back from lunch with a coworker today, he got pulled by a state trooper for a bullshit reason and got a lot of attitude. Guess it was that time of month...

Just makes my already poor opinion of cops even worse... I saw nothing unsafe at all. I guess they are above the law. They think because they have been to a police driving course they have a clue about driving a car. They always speed, on duty or off, and just make my blood boil.

It's called not using your blinkers

I love WRB but hate the attention it gets from cops.... my old wrb wrx was a cop magnet. Sucks because its such a nice color but it comes with a price.

I got spoken to by a cop, (rent-a-cop?) maybe, last night in a parking garage for going over the 5mph speed limit just past the entrance way, an area where pedestrians can't even walk. Seriously? There was physically no way that anyone was in harm's way, and furthermore, my car goes 8mph in first gear with ZERO throttle; I'm not going to ride the brake to get through the garage!! Let's get real, cops. And change the speed limit to 10, a perfectly reasonable speed to travel in a parking garage. I just acted shocked and apologized. No way Mister High-and-Mighty would've listened to me anyways.

Palm Beach County Sheriff deputies, my relatives, have described my younger daughters Scion FR-S as a ticket magnet
