Rev Works (not so nice) Review

First off I hate to give any vender a bad review but this dates back all the way to Mid March of this year. I originally placed an order for a header with motiv overpipe and gaskets. With shipping total cost to me was roughly $1100cdn. Original shipping date was 2 weeks out, then another 2 weeks, then 1 week, then another 2 weeks. Finally I just said enough was enough and I canceled my order and asked for a refund.

I will be the first to admit that RevWorks was very nice to me and seemed to be very understanding of me not wanting to wait when they could not put a date on completion. The refund took quite some time to come in. (3 weeks) When it did come in it was only for the price of the header. Approximatly $740cdn.

At this point I was a little ticked of, but was reassured that it would all be fine and taken care of. Still nothing on the remainder of the money. Sent lots of emails asking about it. I was told that it was sent out, but when I asked for a confimation number thats when the lines went dead. No response from them at all.

Not happy with the way things were handled by them. I have been nothing but nice on my end and kept quite and away from publicly posting about my experience with them until now. It was paid via Paypal and way past my time frame to do anything about it.

So I hope you enjoyed making headers for other people on my dime.

P.S. I delt with Marti

Yup, I'll never buy from them again. I bought their catchcan, and when I received it there was no instructions. I emailed, and called. Never got a response from them. I had to look up their blog to figure out how to install the catchcan.

Terrible customer service, I'll never buy from them again.

Glad I am not the only one. The reviews looked very promising before I purchased.... well donated money to them

Please leave feedback guys for this vendor under their profile so others can view before having the same regrets

So far it looks like they have a perfect feedback...

They aren't listed on the vendor list, but their account is still a vendor. Perhaps contacting some of the members in Orlando that might have ties to Rev Works. I will check with a couple and see what is up with Rev Works these days.

@Rev Works any response?

I did receive an email from Marti after posting this. Stay tuned for updates

very much so. nothing more than an error in quickbooks. Reached out to him and apologized and immediately processed the difference.

They have corrected this.

Received my confirmation from paypal that it was being processed. I guess it was some kind of computer error and Marti has apologized, and made things right.

Like the original post said, they were an understanding company to deal with and somehow a few of my emails didn't get through. It's too bad it had to come to posting on here to have it resolved. But the bottom line is that it is resolved.

I"m glad it is resolved but I find it odd that the error was found after you posting a thread.

Did you read King Tut's post? He posted a message about it in one of their sales threads, that's where they learned about it.

If one doesn't know to look for something they generally won't find it :)

Rev Works is absolutely an honorable company and I have known the owner since before he opened this shop. Total class act, talented in all aspects of automotive care and a pretty decent shoe behind the wheel as well

It was actually brought to our attention by another customer that was placing an order. Once we understood the situation, we reached out to the customer and resolved the matter within minutes.
