Front Pipe question
What will a front pipe do (with stock headers and overpipe) to the sound of the resonated quieter exhaust set-ups. ZETA, perrin resonated, TRD, Q300, etc. I currently have the ZETA exhaust and its a few DB louder than stock but MUCH DEEPER. Was contemplating a front pipe but wasn't sure the stereotypical change they usually make in sound and tone on the quiter daily driver type exhausts.
Will it bring raps, will it make it deeper, will it make it louder or all 3? |
It will make it deeper and louder. Probably won't make it raspy since your catback is resonated and relatively quiet. For your setup you could probably go catless and it likely will not be raspy

I have a perrin resonated axle back and a catless Invidia front pipe. It's not raspy or too loud at all to me. During warm up it'll be slightly loud but other than that its pretty quiet at idle.

does your invidia have a resonator?
