Question on having different piping sizes
Hey,
I haven't been able to find a concrete answer thus far so hoping someone can help! I understand it may be important to keep a constant piping size throughout, but I didn't really think about that a year ago...did I screw up by having: Revworks UEL: 2.5inch Looking to get Tsudo FP/OP: 2.3inch/60mm Zeta Exhaust: 2.3inch/60mm Would I have a leak or something? by mating the 2.5 to 2.3? If i go for nameless FP/OP (2.5inch) would there be an issue then at the frontpipe to Midpipe end? Edited: Piece name~ Thank you! |
It's not that big of a difference in diameter so you won't have any issues. No you won't have a leak unless you don't tighten the bolts properly or have a busted gasket which won't happen unless you break something on install. No you won't have an issue if you get the Nameless FP/DP. If you're looking for a FP/DP Nameless is the one I would get, and already have. For exhaust I'd get Perrin, Nameless, or Invidia Q300 if you don't want to wake the neighbors every morning. Worry not my fellow enthusiast and enjoy your car's exhaust. :)

Tsudo FP and CB are 2.5". The header and OP are 60mm (2.3").
