FS: PlatinumR HID Ballasts with Bulbs 6000K

Hey everyone,

I am selling my PlatinumR HID kit that I got from HID Powerhouse. @KI_ZN6 has extremely great and speedy customer service.

Why am I selling:
I'm doing a complete projector retrofit, which will require new bulbs. While I'm at it, I'll just get the matching ballast for warranty reasons.

How long have they been used:
I have had them on the car for a little over a year and a half. Most of my driving is during the day though, and my car is routinely parked for decent periods at a time. The amount of hours on it are very low considering how long they have been installed.

What all is wrong:
Nothing is wrong.

Any small details:
- One of my original bulbs blew so I replaced it with a spare bulb I had. However HID bulbs slightly change color as their service life progresses. Because of this, one bulb is a slightly different color than the other.
- Like many other ballasts (good ones at least), these ballast do have a slight buzz. You are only going to hear it if the engine is off with the hood open though. That's completely normal.
- You will need new double sided tape.

Asking Price:
This ad is about the ballasts. The bulbs are just going in so you aren't left floating down stream without a paddle. With that said, I would like $65 shipped. Offensive offers will be ignored.


I do not have pictures at the moment. I will be back home on Thursday (Aug 7). They are currently installed so I will get lights on pictures as well as actual product pictures. For the time being, this is the seller's standard picture. I am posting this early because I have plans that I would like to get rolling when I get back.

The bulbs are out of the car. I will get more pictures tomorrow. I drove with them Thursday night. I'm really going to miss that slight hint of blue. :( These are a little more blue than other 6000k bulbs I've seen.

I'll buy if you can point me to instructions for retrofit.
