Could've been my BRZ

1 Attachment(s)
I recently got my BRZ. Yesterday, I parked it in my backyard after washing it and just left it there, so I had to take my old civic out and I parked it on the streets (I only had 1 spot left) on the exact same spot my BRZ was. I will never park my BRZ on the public streets anymore.

This is what happens moments after :

Whoa!! Ouch! Sorry to see that to any car! Similar thing happened the third day I owned my G37 coupe! I feel your pain!

What are the rivets on the trunk lid for? Did you have a wing on that Honda at one time?

@ Pete156 : not that I know of, I bought the car a year ago and it came like that.

Those are perhaps plugs to cover up drilled holes for the rear spoiler that may have been present in the past. My guess as well.

Yup, good thing it wasn't the BRZ... I agree, it can always be riskier to park in those types of areas.

My first Civic was totaled simply because I parked it on the street. A taxi t boned an SUV, which proceeded to roll on top of my car. Maybe it's a civic thing.

I will never understand how people can park a car they care about on the street... :iono:

When you live in the city, you don't always have a viable option.

I had a 2002 Civic SI-G coupe. Your pics made me think of her. Sold her to a friend for half its value, and she was totaled a few years later. Good car.

I will never understand how people can care so mu ch about a car. If someone runs into it, insurance covers repairs. If it's totaled, time to upgrade to next best thing. Sure it sucks, but if you think of the positives, then it's actually not that bad.

Someone back into you? time to get that body kit installed and painted. Someone steal your wheels? time to get new wheels w/ new tires...

To each their own, but some ppl are just too attached IMO. Not saying that you should be careless, but shit happens. Hell, blue ice could fall on your car in the backyard, or roof could collapse in your garage. o.O But then again, I just got home from a night out at the bars, so ignore me...

A sports car is like a ballerina they are never the same after they brake a leg.

A Civic is a football player like Rob Gronkowski you fix him and he just keeps going and no one cares what he looks like.

2 months ago I parked my RS6 on the street at my girlfriend's apartment and it got swiped. Imagine having a flawless body on an 11-yr-old limited production RS Audi and some careless assclown ruins it for you... Also never parking on the street again.

Wow, did you just say "it's just a car, no big deal" on THIS forum?
That's brave...
