@Milquetoast swung by yesterday and Tyler installed his Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Remind me to talk to you at the meetup on Sunday. I need a LOT of stuff done. Most of it I can do myself but I don't have tools or a lift in my little apartment.

Hey Darren, with these guys that are driving in out of town to install springs and coilovers, how are they straightening out their alignments before heading back on the hwy?

Just curious since I have to do the same thing and install my coilovers at a friends place three cities over.

Most of the cars that we lower are just getting 1-1.3" drops and are completely safe to drive home without an alignment.

Two more spring installs went down on Saturday. A girl named Julie brought her blue BRZ in for a set of Megan springs that we removed from @alliedcam1 and then a dude named Chris had us throw on a set of Manzo springs.

Dang, still haven't gotten an alignment yet, this just reminded me that I still need one! :confused0068:

No problem, this topic hasn't left the first couple pages of the PNW topic list since I posted it, haha!

Had a Craigslister named Nick come in and buy my last set of Manzo springs for installation a few days ago...

@DarrenDriven hey man can I use the lift for an exhaust swap? If that's ok?

DarrenDriven 08-05-2016 01:36 PM

Sorry, but I've had to limit shop use to a few trusted people. The last few times I loaned out the shop I ended up having to spend too much time cleaning up.

AnotherDude000 08-04-2017 02:30 AM

Is this still a thing? Fairly new FRS owner wanting to know.

DarrenDriven 08-05-2017 02:56 PM

Sorry man, but now that my FR-S is long gone the shop is being used for other projects and no room for lowering anymore.

AnotherDude000 08-05-2017 06:09 PM

No worries. We would've had some Pho Hung and salad rolls afterwards! Good luck!

There are other folks around with the space and tools to get this done.

Good to know! I'll reach out when I'm ready to lower her.
