Haha... those aren't all my FRS's, man, I only have one. :)

Darren, got plans on September 22nd? It's your shop available for use then? Thomas Dekany (http://tdekany.com/) is going to be doing a new car prep and opticoat on my BRZ, and we need an indoor place to work. My garage is much too small and cluttered to work in.

I have nothing going on that day. It would be nice to sit, drink beer and watch someone else work for once. I blocked the afternoon off on my calendar and the garage is yours.

Group Buy Time! That is who I am going to have do mine when ever I quit blowing my cash on home repairs. ><

Sounds good, can you pm me your address? I'll let you know a better guess on time when I get more info.

Man, This is a great resource you have made available to the local area. I'll have to make a trip down sometime to visit Portland / your shop.

DarrenDriven 08-31-2012 04:29 PM

Yeah man, just give me a heads up.

By the way, I used to work at the Kinkos that was near The Ram and South Hill Mall. That was in like 1996...haha.

@DarrenDriven - that's so cool you are getting the "kids" involved. Great learning experience for them.

I'm getting the H techs installed in Seattle right now. Since the dealer wouldn't cough up a decent credit for labor the get to do the install anyways and spend hours on my car. They are saying it will take 4 hours and I've done them quicker than that with only a ratchet and manual spring compressor.

I may be wanting to take those KW's off your hands if the poke is too much with an H tech drop.

Yeah, I like giving these kids a chance to learn stuff that I wish someone would have taught me when I was their age.

Man, such BS about the dealer... once you have everything from them you really should post your experience publicly. Pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, let me know about the KWs. Sooner or later they'll find a home, might as well be with someone I know, haha!
