SALE PENDING

krayzie 08-01-2014 04:53 PM

The buyer should do yourself a favor and spend a couple of bucks to buy two new bolts for the tips from the dealer parts counter as they will be rusted (completely normal).

@daftpunk @4pokguy @PNA @creamsoda

BTW, we couldn't get the tips off of the exhaust. The bolts rusted right out, and are still sitting on the muffler in my basement.

If anyone is desperate enough to swap mufflers, you can PM me.

same thing happened with mine when I installed, so they had to saw off my OEM ones to install the JDM ones in...

kALMIGHTY 08-11-2014 04:04 PM

Had to go to Minute Muffler so they could torch off the old bolts to take the OEM tips off.

WD40? I had to give each of my OEM tip bolts a good dose of it to then loosen them off.

Oh man, Now I'm worried about having to take mine off.
Did you try pb blaster? Did you already break or rounded the bolt?

We tried a pneumatic gun, and I manually tried with some WD-40

One side the head is totally gone and broken off, and the other side is one solid piece of rust
