Not everybody is on the site at the same time. Give it some time and you will get an answer. :thanks: |
Maybe try the forced induction sub forum. The kind of people with the information you want tend to hangout there.

Why not just get a built shortblock from Full Blown, or get a motor built by Element Tuning?
They already know how to build our engines correctly for big power. There's a couple other outfits that sell built shortblocks as well. |
Ask a vendor, not a guy like me.
|
Carillo, Pauter, Cunningham, Manley for rods
JE, CP, Arias, Manley for pistons What cr? What power? |
Yeah why wouldn't you just buy a ready built short block from say @FullBlown that takes out all the guess work.

You still need to figure out heads and most importantly - the tune. |
Figure out the heads? If he's only going for less than 500whp the stock heads have been shown to be fine. He asked about rods and pistons which is a short block, had he asked about heads I would've said stick with stock at his power goals.
FYI @D K I have a built engine and stock heads and 500whp which is what he wants |
I've been doing some searching, is there any comparison's between these forged components. Example: why I should choose Manley rods over pauter, or vise versa. Same with pistons. Im planning on forged internals, and 10:1 cr

You haven't specified what sort of build you're after.
Plus, when people say they want proper quality items as part of an extensive project and make a point of 'reasonable price', this usually means that the price these parts are will be too expensive. |
