86 are not known for their speed/power. Now if he would have did a drift donut around you that would have been funny.

Are you suggesting that just because someone has the same model car as you that automatically makes them a interesting person?

I don't have any bad experiences but it would be nice if there was a little bit of a twin scene where I live. (Upstate NY). The thread for my region on this site is just me posting to my past self.

My theory is that the WRX takes the majority of the car guys around here because of our terrible winters. When most people buy a car, they only can afford or only want one car to drive year round. A twin is just too inconvenient for this area.

I've had strange experiences overall. When the car was stock, drivers of all sorts from turbo diesel trucks to 911s would rev and launch, but as I've gradually modded the car I don't get much of that anymore. It's funny, because it's really not much faster than stock. But I try to acknowledge every twin owner that flashes me or waves.

Meanwhile, in Ottawa, 3.5hrs north of you, if you threw a coin in a parking lot, it would hit a twin. We have tons of them up here, and the winters are a little worse!

lol. I don't think so. According to the internet the average snowfall in Ottawa is 69 inches. Syracuse averages 120.

But maybe I should make the drive to some of your meets.
