JDL UEL Header + Motiv OP & Cat FP + Perrin Res CBE Videos
 

Now, when I completed my full 2.5'' exhaust I decided to post these videos here as I remember myself looking for similar real life videos with various exhaust components combinations to make the right choice.

I'm really happy with the end result. I had a non-resontated Perrin CBE initially which sounded gorgeous and I liked it. Then I added a Nameless FP/OP combo with a catalyzer and a Helmholtz resonator, despite which it added rasp and some metallic noise, so overall sound became worse than Perrin non-resonated alone.

Then I added JDL UEL Header to get the infamous rumble, some extra HP and reduce the "valley of death" of torque. Simultaneously I swapped the mid part of the catback to the one with the resonator to keep things acceptable for street driving and be at least a bit society friendly :)

Finally I swapped the Nameless FP/OP combo to Motiv pieces as the former had fitment issues (was in contact with the engine block) which were causing that unwanted rasp and metallic sounds.

Hope it helps those who are still making their choices with regards to the exhaust system.

Sounds really awesome man. Any drone inside at 70 mph or so? Considered swapping my CB to Perrin resonated 2.5"
