system not recognizing my Sansa Fuze MP3
 
I have a Sansa Fuze MP3 player with WMA files connected thru the USB port.
The system is not recognizing it (USB icon remains dark) despite the fact that the player says "connected."


What am I doing wrong?

Could be because you hooked it up via the USB port rather than the AUX port. The USB port is only really good for Ipod/Iphone connectivity or for charging your cell phone.

depends a lot on protocol used to present data. android via MTP, apple via whatever preparatory thing they use. typical USB via FAT32 formatting generally.
