Why can't people wait two seconds for me to step on the gas?
Light turns green. Less than two seconds later...BEEEEEEP from the car behind me!
Seriously? |

My girlfriend says people in Boston will honk at you before the light even changes green. :)

The definition of a nanosecond - the the time between the light going green and the people behind you pressing their horn lol.

I would say it depends on the situation. If it's a reallllly long red light, and there is a lot of traffic, IMO, you should be moving right after the light turns green. There are other people behind you that do need to get somewhere. If they were the only car behind you though, they're just impatient.
I will give a real short beep (basically i'll jab at the horn) in those situations. I think of it as a courtesy beep. What really grinds my gears is the impatient people that want to start moving before the light turns green, then they drive slow as shit. If you're in such a hurry you can't stop at a red light, hit the gas! |
Isn't 2 seconds a little too long to react to any situation when driving?

If i have bad mood, when the light turn green i start to move the car slowly (its manual)
When light turn yellow to red i hit the gas and almost those impatient got stuck again. |

Because it's annoying when you don't make it through the light because the vehicle in front of you is busy texting.
