i recently installed the crawford bpbs and im trying change my tune from stage 1 to the beta bpb tunes provided on the openflash website. however, whenever i try to load any new tune onto the tablet it it says "incorrect checksum". anyone have any ideas as to whats going on?

Maybe if there's any way to wipe your OFT to factory, and update again? Sounds to me like it could have been a problem in the updates. If not, then possibly a problem with your bin files. If the bins that come from the website don't work as well, my money would be up corrupted update files.

Also, has anyone heard anything new on speed density development? Getting close to committing on a supercharger that isn't the one of my dreams.

New to the OFT. I just need the Stage 1 tune but was looking for the 93 octane version. However, my device only shows B01C without the 91 or 93 octane designation. Any thoughts? Do I just need to re-download the latest files?

Well..answered my own question...I just decided to go ahead and download the latest 93 tune and simply flashed it to the car in place of the old tune. :)

Good thing, it's always better to just get the latest version :thumbup:

Highly suggest using romraider and waynos tables. Look into it. It looks a lot more intimidating than it actually is.

There isn't you'd have to create one yourself for in romraider, I think there was a guy on here that made a very conservative base one for the non intercooled version on here based on the phantom esc map.

You may just be better off coverting to ecutek and getting a delicious flash and go tune.

Did this May timetable come from somewhere, or is it an arbitrary guess? I only ask because I haven't seen anything recent pertaining to the new tunes by Shiv.

It's arbitrary because that'll be almost 6 months after his announcement so after that I just stop caring lol

Who here hates frs transmission? I changed all the transmission stuff, from oil, to diff, rear perrin bushing, whiteline transmission bushings. Still the shifting sucks. Notchy and nosey.

After changing out my fluid in the trans and diff with Motul shifting is improved. OFT seemed to help smooth it out as well for me where 5th was often "lurchy" unless I was perfect before. Now it shifts cold like the stock fluid worked fully warmed up. It takes fingertips pressure now to shift once warm.

I just got the OFT the other day and got a stage 1 (A01C) loaded on my 2013 BRZ. I noticed in the map file there are a number of BINs for the Stage 1 tunes. I searched the forum and I can't seem to find anything to compare the different files.

How do I know the A01C tune is the one I want?
What are the difference between them all? (I've tried to search the tread for the different tune names.

900C - 4/21/2015
700C - 9/8/2014
A00C - 9/8/2014
A01C - 9/8/2014
B00C - 9/8/2014

based on the modified date, it would suggest that the newest might be the best based on tweak, but I know there are different feature like LC and FFS that might be enabled/disabled in some.

Been a few years since I messed with any of this, so my wording might be slightly off... But...

You want to load the A01C if that is what your car is (OFT should tell you when you hook it up). Any of the updates/tweaks have been added to that file.
