As long as you use the "D" version and not the "C" version, yes :D
the OFT won't let you use the wrong one

Ok, who's on the b01c stg2 EL e85 map. I'm having some SERIOUS issues with it. Fuel trims are through the roof, AFR is dangerously lean, and it is running TERRIBLE. I am going to try the 1.59 map just to rule out the fuel, but something is way out of wack. Rom Raider is showing a ton of null variables in the various fuel sections of the 2.0 map..

Updated to Stage 1 93.

Revs so much smoother than before. Didn't really notice any power increase but so much more refined.

I love it.

I'm looking at that map now and it looks fine. Are you sure you are using the new XML files provided in the download folder?

edeekeos 07-26-2014 07:36 PM

Yeah I got the new xmls loaded into rr, as well as removed the old ones. The different xmls would explain the discrepancies between the two, however, I tried reflashing the 2.0 tune, and everything is still WAY out of whack. The can feels fine below 4k but asa soon as it gets past that, it's dogs down like mad, and runs lean as hell. Sitting here waiting for the old 1.59 to flash, I'll report back asa I try it out.

Gonna have to do this ASAP :D

Ok the 2.0 EL E85 B01C tune clearly has some issues. 1.59 feels like it's supposed to, zero issues whatsoever. Without giving it a whole lot of learning time, my FT was well below 4's, and AFR is right at 11.8-9 under WOT.

The E85 maps have been run by beta testers for a few weeks now. No other reports of such a problem. A brief glimpse of the mapping data itself shows no issues either as it is identical to the Stage 2.0 EL A01C file that I compared it to. Are you sure you are letting the car idle for 60 seconds after the flash and before touching the accelerator. It almost sounds like you are driving off to early before VVT does it self diagnostic and enables. But maybe others can chime in with their experience with the E85 maps.

Yeah, I did everything as should. I just went back to the 1.59 map using the identical methods, and it is perfectly fine. Not sure whats up. I will re-download the maps, and flash again, and see whats up. Thanks for the quick responses!

Running the new el stage 2 e85 map and the engine doesn't sound so good starting up? Anyone notice a sound difference?

No problem. I'll also test it in our frs later tonight. It's currently running e85 so easy test to do :)
