Stage 2 UEL 93 - knock parameters look decent, although seems to peg full rich at 5k+

Just getting back from Monterey Car Week returning to San Diego. ODT v2 91 octane stage 2 tune gave me a bit over 33 MPG. Nice!

I not sure I understand, is this good or bad?

The current setup is a FA20Club EL Catted Header, Perrin Overpipe, Nameless Catted Front Pipe with Helmholtz Resonator, Stock Exhaust, Perrin Tips

The catalytic converter is huge and according to Mr Brown it flows very well.

If I knew it wouldn't drone and the noise was acceptable I'd install this.

Still new in the box. Sure weighs less, lol
Would the performance difference be noticeable?

I know one sure way to find out. lol

Seems to be good whatever you have on there already, but I've not looked at enough different setups to know for sure. Only guessing from the looks of your MAF voltages and your ignition advance. (As much as 1.5* of advance more than @weepeel's log at certain parts of the range.) Of course there is no substitute for back to back dyno pulls. You can always try to play with virtual dyno if you have a nice flat road to test on safely.

Installing it is easy, lots of wiggle room installing the pipe, it's the reinstallation of the cat if things don't work out. It took an hour to find a sweet spot for that cat where it or the pipes downstream didn't rub anything.

I'll let her put some miles on the tune and datalog later this week, late at night

What setting Primary Open Loop Fueling should I have in the 6000-7400 range at 1.1 1.2 1.3 load?

In my logs I've found that in cool 70* temps AFRs were 0.2 richer than target, but in 100*f temps it would go 0.2 leaner than target approximately. To be safe and to avoid having the AFR go leaner than 12.5:1, I set the target AFR at around 11.9-12.0 at those ranges. Although I'm sure there will be some variation form car to car. I believe more power could be had at AFR's at or leaner than 12.5:1 at the risk of being more knock prone particularly in hot weather.

Also, our O2 sensor is really not a true wideband. So, again, I'd like to error on the richer side of things.

I wonder what causing you not to hit that last bit of advance that tony seems to be hitting... it's the same ignition table, there is no knock, and IAM is at 1. why?

Anyone running this stage 2 tune (EL or UEL) with stock header back? Curious how well it runs out of the box and how loud it is. Not sure if I want to do headers yet or wait a while, but gains are pretty impressive

I stick it to the fixed window on the door. Works great. OFT weighs nothing so there's no issue. I'm not the only person that uses this style of mount - got the idea from this forum actually.

any chance you can snap a pic of it installed with the OFT mounted?

I see about 0.5 degree difference? I didn't log my IAT but I'm almost sure it was about 75. Also, he is running the EL map and I am running UEL - not sure if the timing requirements are different.

Do you mean stock exhaust after the header? Half of it is stock.
After the catted EL header, I'm running a Perrin Overpipe, a catted Nameless Front pipe with Helmholtz Resonator, and the rest of the exhaust is stock.

Is the Wideband O2 kit available from OpenFlashTablet?
