Still unable to get the FFS and LC to work. I deleted the XML files that were released with v2.00 and replaced them with the XML files released with v2.01. Before, the tables would show up, but the FFS/LC options weren't there. Now, with the v2.01 XML files only, I don't get anything to load. Not sure if I need both sets (the ones that started with "RR_" from v2.0 and the ones that started with "OFT_" from v2.01) or if I'm doing something else wrong?

CaptainSlow 07-27-2014 02:31 PM

Nevermind...figured it out.

To get the XML files from 2.01 to work, you have to change the first part from "OFT_" to "RR_". The tunes probably point to that RR_ prefix because that was how it was named in the original 2.0 release. Changed "OFT_ZA1JA01C.xml" to "RR_ZA1JA01C.xml" and it worked, with the LC/FFS tables present at the bottom.

You don't necessarily have to rename the new XML files. Just go to XML manager in Rom Raider, deselect old XMLs and select new ones.

Ah, OK...I wasn't sure how to do that in the software itself. Thanks!

@Shiv@Openflash will there be a table to adjust the cold start idle, preferably with the excessive valve overlap on initial start?

The tables are defined you just need to alter them

Did a 100 mile drive today with the car club today with v2.0 of the Stage 2 UEL tune. Less torquey off the line, but I am happier since it is easier to modulate. Power comes on smoother. One big plus is my mileage is better with the 2.0 OTS vs. 1.59 OTS tune.

Tried to do a couple pulls last night - going to try and get another run in tonight. Here is my log, how is it looking?

@Shiv@Openflash

Re-downloaded and re-flashed the new 2.0 tune, and now everything is GOLDEN, really not sure what was going on before. The tune feels great, FT's and AFR are beautiful. This tune feels MUCH smoother than the 1.59. Also, LC is really nice, glad to finally have that available, now to get to the next test and tune at the track. Overall, very happy with this rendition, great work, as always!

Just reflashed 2.0 stage 1. 93 oct.
After I reflashed my CAL ID changed to B01C on OFT. OFM still shows A01C as it used to be.
Is that normal?? I did use correct file to flash it which is stg 1 A01C.bin
And all labels of data logging are gone also.

Entirely normal, just like other CalID's other than A01C before the v2.0 maps (ie 700C, A00C, B00C, etc...) listed A01C there, your A01C will now list the base map in which the new maps are based on (which is B01C). The OFT will not let you flash the wrong map to your ECU.
