Hagg Lake
Anybody interested in going? It takes a distance to get there. Maybe like 45 min from Portland to Forest grove. But the loop around the lake is fun. Lots of hair pins, Plenty of apex. Just gotta be careful with the blind corners. With Summer being around. This place does tend to get busy. I was thinking maybe doing 2 laps around the lake then parking in one of the bigger lots and just have a bbq or even get into the water.

So heres' the plan. Sunday, August 17th Cruise to Hagg Lake/BBQ potluck (date could possibly change depending on if it meets peoples schedules)
6 DOLLARS PER CAR FOR PARKING I know there are sites there were there are already a BBQ there. But if somebody could bring a portable one that would be great! Also if everybody could accommodate and bring something whether it be meat, soda, chips, w/e it may be. I just ask 1 Item per car. 11:45 meet at Fred Meyer on Glison. Head out at 12:00ish? 6615 NE Glisan St Portland, OR 97213 Crusie down 84/26 to hit Cornelius Pass Fred Meyer to meet up w/ anybody there for the Hillsboro/Beaverton Crowd. Leave probably about 12:45? Fred Meyer, 22075 NW Imbrie Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124 Cruise again on 26 down to another fred meyer in Cornelius, OR For the folks closer to that neck of the woods. Fred Meyer, 2200 Baseline St, Cornelius, OR 97113 Now each of these Fred meyers are about 15/20ish minutes away from each other and that gives the chance for us to pick up meat and other stuff while we are there. From the Cornelius Fred meyer we would go straight to Hagg Lake. Do a couple laps and than light up. There is a lake at the location where you can swim, bring your rafts, inner tubes w/e. Lets have some fun! I'm Open to ideas and Suggestions. |
