STI Lip Kit
 

Anyone know if these can be ordered from a local dealership yet, or if anyone have part numbers by chance? I'm in need of the sides to complete the kit, and would rather wait instead of going through japanparts or the likes.

You could order them from subarugenuineparts.com. I'm pretty sure that they would sell them in the dealerships too since the series blue is out now.

The MSRP is more expensive than Japanparts, just that the shipping and customs will end up being couple hundreds more than buying from the dealer. I got mine from the dealer last month. The box will fit in a BRZ just be creative. :D

I have a friend at pacific subaru in torrance and he quoted me 1100 installed OTD for this STi lip kit...

Oh sorry I thought you meant the lip (I just got the front lip). Here in Canada the front lip is $499CAD, the sides are $599CAD, and the rear spats are $399CAD, plus applicable taxes (15% tax here in Ontario).

You can get an estimate on Japanparts and I'm pretty sure with shipping it's some ridiculous amount (not even including the duties). For example, the front lip is around $100 less than dealer with Japanparts, but $240 to ship, plus duties.

Getting it straight from the local Subaru dealer was a no brainer for me. The body kit is available for order at the dealer since early April and first shipment was early June, but not a lot of dealers knew how to order them because it cannot be done over the parts counter computer, it has to be ordered thru the Subaru dealer access website.

Damn, that's actually a pretty good deal!

None of the local Subaru dealers do not have them on their websites yet. Bummer.

Keep trying, I had success with the 2nd dealer I visited (the first one was clueless).

That's a great deal. I am always amazed when I hear of dealers that charge below MSRP. All the dealers I have ever been to charged MSRP for everything, sometimes more!
