car is everything everyone says it is, love the seats, steering has a lot of feedback for electric assisted steering, got it sideways on the way home(on a safe road of course, plenty of run off, middle of nowhere), will be taking it calmly for the next 1000 miles :D 4.5 years and today is finally here!

and those tires really do know how to loose grip, in a fun way... lol :D going for a 100 mile drive tonight! woot woot!

Ok here's my first impressions

Steering
I think toyota hit this one on the head, extra assist in parking lots at very low speeds and almost no assists at speed and it created great feed back so you know when you have grip or no grip

Handling

Car handles very great, I can say the steering is more neutral than the BRZ and is defiantly leaning more towards over steering, this i like its more fun on roads just getting from point A to B
Transitions from right to left turns(vise versa) is great no body roll, lane changing on the freeway is def fun!!!

Ride Comfort
Compared to my Celica, the ride is defiantly stiffer, same goes when comparing to the BRZ which has a softer ride, I guess its a compromise for handling but its def a good compromise and wouldn't want it any other way :D.

Automatic Transmission
Shifts are QUICK! It surprises me every time I go into the next gear up and down, been down shifting to lights learning to save my breaks. overall I give the auto 6 out of 5 stars just because it is THAT good!

Radio
Sound quality is good, better than the BRZ, no nav but does have blue tooth for calls and music which is all i need, no messing with dangling chords, took me about 20 min to get the radio set up like i want it, its perfect for the enthusiasts

Brakes
Nice confident braking, another 6 out of 5 stars, I'm glad the brakes aren't like a lot of new cars where it jerks you forward because they are too damn touchy...

Acceleration
Car accelerates smoothly nice predictable and responsive, the car reminds me more and more of my beloved Celica

Ergonomics
Everything in the car is exactly where it needs to be, nothing out of place, in the way or too far to reach

Fit and Finish
Paint is nice and deep, looks like a good coating, should be able to withstand scratching to a good extent!!

FUN
Remember this vid?
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPoZ1SC8uwk"]2013 Scion FR-S: A New Hope? - Ignition Episode 14 - YouTube[/ame]
The car is defiantly fun, and yes the numbers we all read do literally fly out the window, its not even a second thought for me, its all about the drive, I smiled all day at every corner and through the perfect down shifts, instant and informative steering feel
The car just promotes confidence, within 20 min i was comfortable driving spiritedly and didn't doubt the cars limits once

Gas Milage
Gas mileage was better than i though, i was averaging 30.2 MPGS with spirited driving

and finally
TIRES
I completely understand the choice of tires, they were a perfect match no doubt, just be careful in the rain and leave all the nannies on, trac control and stability control are predictable and VSC Sport allows a good(safe) amount of angle of slip for everyday roads.

Conclusion
I love the car and was def worth the 4-5 year wait, I could have bought any other car in the price range but I'm glad I didn't, the car has earned a permanent spot in my garage and will never be sold, It reminds me of the Celica I regret giving away, but I also see it as a reincarnation of that fun car I used to drive the snot out of, with the correct wheel drive this time!
This is the true modern day trueno...
:D so happy!
I hope this was a great read for yall as it was a great 1st day experience for me!
