FRS Gas door replacement?
 

Hi all,

Can some of you post some URL's to FRS gas door replacements that are like the BRZ one here: http://subaruonlineparts.com/subaru-...er-p-1354.html

But not BRZ obviously as I have an FR-S.

It's actually only a sticker. I've never seen one that says FRS :iono:

lol yeah. It's a dealer option that they put on some for some reason. A while back there was someone who posted that they took it off after a little bit but I can't remember which thread it was in. Supposedly it adds hp too lol You know being a sticker and all :burnrubber:

It's one of the first things most BRZ owners remove (dealers use it as an excuse to pad the price of the car). Pretty expensive sticker. How difficult would it be to hollow out the center of the fuel filler door and put in a real carbon fiber disk instead?

That is a shame, and I am overall surprised no one does make one. There are so many other parts that are just bling than function. But no GAS door replacement.

I peeled mine off when I got my BRZ detailed. Never looked back.

Not specific to the FR-S, but it's something:

Been looking to replace mine, too, because it seems to collect dings. I've been lucky enough to avoid door dings so far; but looking at it in the right angles, I can see some small indentations. I'm guessing it's from the gas cap hanger. Anybody else noticed this on theirs?

the door hinge is riveted in. wont be a simple bolt on application if you want to replace the fuel door. on the facebook forum, a guy posted up his build that had a different fuel door on it but it required alot of fab work on the car. If you notice, our doors are not circles and they are also put in at an angle.

Just leave it stock already...

TRD has a gas cap replacement. As far as the actual gas door I don't think anybody offers an OEM replacement.
