Subaru dealers selling STI lip kit?

Anyone know if the 2015 BRZ STI lip kit is going to be for sale from dealers? Curious about the dealer price for older BRZ owners wanting to add the 2015 look.

I think this is the p/n: E2410CA000

2015 look... The kit isn't a 2015 feature. It's been available long enough for multiple replicas to be made.

But the kit is new to US Subaru dealers, via the Series.Blue editions, and he's obviously asking about buying from a US dealer.

Either way, his question is probably more deserving of answers than mockery.

:respekt:

Not mocking at all, just stating a fact.

Thanks for the info! Just to clarify, I was only asking about the possible dealer option.

Right, I obviously totally misread the

Factually, the lip kit is a new-for-2015 feature/option in the US market, and the OP is asking about US dealer pricing.

You're not stating facts, you're splitting hairs. I think people around here appreciate informative responses more than pointless "corrections."

I'm sure the dealer will install it, for an additional fee.

Well I admit defeat there, but I still was correct.

Install costs?

Anyone have a quote/price on parts + install for this from a dealer? Parts on Subaru Genuine Parts list it at 974.00:

I'm usually up for doing installs myself, but for something cosmetic like this I'm thinking it's probably best to suck it up and pay the extra cash to have the dealer do it.

^^Didn't realize it was that cheap, I'll definitely be ordering the side skirts then :)

Anyone know if this will fit on the FRS?

Nope - at least not the front lip since the front bumper on the FR-S GT86 is a different profile/shape than the BRZ.

These are relatively easy to install, just some tape and screws. As long as you have a friend to help you out, some blue tape, and a power driver, you'll be fine.

FWIW, you can get a complete replica set for about $200-300. Less than 1/3 the cost, unless you must have the bling of OEM parts and can afford them. Some things I appreciate OEM quality, but for some things... well, to each their own.
