Hi All,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I picked up my pearl white limited brz a month ago and I'm totally sold. Since the weather has been warm I've been noticing the black interior gets pretty hot. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for tinting in the San Jose/Cupertino/Sunnyvale area? Thanks!

Do not go somewhere cheap! Cheaper is not always better when it comes to window tint. I made that mistake and had to deal with a refund and paying someone to take the tint off and do it right.

A good idea is to ask the dealership who does there cars. If you don't mind the drive. Ron's tint in Lodi is really good. That's where I took mine to get fixed.

Tints R Us in San Jose are awesome. Talk to Juan. They do great work and warranty everything.

He did my BRZ and my buddies' WRX and the work is fantastic. He always has something ridiculously nice in his shop getting tinted as well. I've seen Ferraris, Lambos, and more Teslas than I can shake a stick at. His pricing is very reasonable as well. I got my BRZ done with the 3M ceramic tint, 30 on the driver/passenger, and 15 on the rear and small corners, and I think it ran me like $325 total.

I got mine done at extreme tint in Santa Clara. Took my brz and my buddy took his wrx and they came out great.

I recommend going to Sidney at Automall Tint Specialist in Fremont

Canlas Tint in North San Jose (speak to Rommel) or Tint R Us in DTSJ (speak to Juan)

I've had my cars tinted at both spots, great work at either or. Most recently done at Canlas.

I took mine to computerized tinting in sj. They are pretty professional and did a great job on my car. only $180 for 5 windows and they don't cut on the glass. It's all pre cut and then simply applied.

Mr Tint on Kiely in San Jose does a great job, I've had three cars done there. I'd highly recommend them!

Going off topic a bit: In Norcal, does South Bay mean the southern part of the "Bay area"? In Socal, it means the area from Manhattan Beach to Palos Verdes. :bonk:
