3M Tape
 

Is there a certain 3m tape to get? Or is it just plain old double sided tape? No extra strength or heavy duty one?

I have been wondering the same thing. It seems sketch to attach my nice fiberglass with nothing other than tape

I just get automotive tape.

3M VHB tape is their strongest line, as well when peaked back it's clean and leaves no hassles. You can get it super thin, thick wide etc....

Ebay has loads of it just take a search there.

Is there any stores that sell the VHB line? Im trying to put it on this weekend

It's not quite as badass as the VHB stuff, but you should be able to find this (or similar) at most automotive stores: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=517034_0_0_

The 3M double sided comes in three different strengths: 5# (assuming white), 10# (grey), and 20# (black). I know a lot of parts come with the 10# stuff applied. I use the 20# on as extra support and on anything else that needs tape.
