Raceseng shock tops with RCE Tarmac 0?

I'm on the fence at the moment with the 1" Raceseng shock tops. I don't want to hit bumpstomps. Purpose is DD with autocross and spirited canyon carving. But added noise = NO! Plan to drop it around 1.25-1.5".

I have a feeling the shock tops would be a worthwhile addition. But do they add any NVH? Reason I ask is that it looks like the spring isolator is removed with installation of the shock tops:

but mmm, dat juicy shock travel... these even look like Tarmacs:

You should not be getting any clunking, as the spring will stay compressed; it won't be hanging.

Benefits to this?

Mike,

with most of these rear mounts, it looks like the spring rests against the plate it's self instead of a separate perch, so as the shock compresses the spring does not remain coaxial with the shock. is this the case?

I've got a set of used 2" ones for $200 shipped if you are interested.
