DIY: Turn signal parking lights always off at night

This is a very simple mod that I did way back when I had a Mazda6 and all is needed is electrical tape and scissor to cut tape. I did this because I didn't like how the turn signals are always on at night or with parking lights. This keeps the turn signals lights OFF while parking lights are ON and/or headlights ON. The blinkers will still work when you use your turn signals and the alarm on and off will still blink.

Another reason I did this is because I just installed these bad boys fogs with XP 80 LED bulbs all from Diode Dynamics (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46131) which is just few miles away from home.

And I prefer JUST the fogs and headlights on (or fogs and DRL).

1. Remove trim light bezel.
2. Remove bulb and turn it around until you see writing on the bulb.
3. Cut small piece of electrical tape and cover left side of bulb stalk. ONLY one stalk. DO NOT cover back side or it will not work.
4. Test to see if all works. If not try another side of the bulb stalk. Took me 2 tries.
5. Replace bulb back in socket and the bezel. Done!!

You can get the TRD silver bulbs. Are still orange when they are on but look heaps better when off
