Decoding BRZ Series Blue VIN
I just want to share this with you guys,
I think I decoded the BRZ Series Blue VIN pattern ... (FOR US) VIN=JF1ZCAC1XF9600XXX F96=Series Blue Special 00XXX=Serial numbers sequence, 0-999 for US Series Blue Special Edition |

You should look into the chassis code for the trim (sticker is on the right door jam), not the VIN. Chassis code for BRZ is ZC6%XX# where: ZC6 == BRZ Model % == Year of Production (A is 2013, B is 2014, C is 2015, etc) XX == Region (YE is North America) # == Trim (7 is Premium, 8 is Limited, I have no idea whether Series.Blue has a different number) For example in Japan, the two digit region code is 2A, the last digit for trim is as follows: 6 is RA (Record Attempt), 7 is R (Regular), 8 is S (Superior). All JDM BRZ limited edition models are based on the Type S trim, so I doubt Series.Blue has a different trim number. |
There is no VIN that ends in all zeros. Also, 00001 and 00002 are Premiums, and 00003 and 00004 are Limiteds.
JF1ZCAB15F9600002 is one of the Premiums if you want to try to figure anything out from the rest. |
I can confirm this from my own VIN.
|
Mine have similar Vin too.
