Achpoques' DGM BRZ!

Well, I had a Silver FR-S ordered to be delivered next Saturday (6/1) and decided to hit our local Subaru dealership today for kicks to see if they had any BRZ's. I went there just wanting to see the car, but loved the DGM on the BRZ.

I'll make a bigger post tomorrow when I have more pics. I put 250ish miles on it today and averaged 35.2mpg on a half tank fill up. This obviously may have been skewed a bit.

In regards to the picture where it's sitting next to Nissans, the GT-R owner stopped me at a stop light and told me to follow them because he wanted to see it since it was the first BRZ he seen. They were having a meet and went to grab food. Pretty badass having a $90,000 car want me to stop with him so he could see it. ::confused0068:

Damn dealership. Lol

I know all the Scion colors...was focused on it. Gotta learn these BRZ color names now!

I was wondering why you were the odd one out. Though you look like you fit in naturally, the car looks just as expensive if not more pricey compared the Z's and GTR.

He pulled up to me at the stoplight turning into the mall.

"Hey, is that the BRZ?"

"Yeah, nice GT-R!"

"I haven't seen one of those yet. Come with us, I want a close up."

Pretty cool a sub-30K car is noticed by a pretty laid back GT-R owner. Had a couple people walk up to it at the gas station asking about it too.

First one in my area (First sold in Fort Wayne, IN) with no more until about 2-3 months apparently. I like the attention!

Congrats!

*That is pretty cool that some random guy in a GTR wanted you to come to a car meet...lol

If you're interested, and not too far away, Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana is looking for a BRZ to photograph for their interactive wheel and tire guide.

I will actually be in South Bend next weekend. I'll contact them this week.

Photo time! I'll have full pics and a small write up later.

You can actually go ahead and use a wheel simulator if you go to vrimz.com. Its free but you have to take a picture of your car erase everything around it including rims. Their program allows you to do this. If you can photoshop then you dont have to use their program to erase the background and wheels. I tried it but I couldnt get the fr-s to fit in the box :p
