I gotta stay late at work tonight. Super sad I won't be making it out tonight. I did however take my BRZ to work today...a whopping 0.7 miles.

Shorter commute than my 1.2 miles. Thats impressive. Lol

Food info: There are 3 restaurants right by the meeting spot: The Habit Burger, Blaze Pizza, and Which Wich (sandwiches). There are also a ton of other restaurants in a 3-block radius. To minimize congestion I'd suggest you all latch on to your 4-5 closest 86 buddies and go grab dinner when convenient, it will be unrealistic to think we will all be able to go sit at a table somewhere together so eat where you want and reconvene in the parking lot.

one more note. probably doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it. Please no obnoxious revving, burnouts, or other obnoxious behavior. We're trying not to be THAT kind of crowd. If you want to act like a fool do it somewhere else and don't ruin it for us. Please be mature, show respect, it's a day about community not showing off your lack of judgment. Thank you!!!!

There's also a few tea places a "block" away from The Block. Like Snowflake (think they changed their name to Snocrave) if your craving some Boba. I know the wife will so I'll be making a stop there first.

And +1 for common courtesy/sense.

Down the street to my office is about .5 miles, but unfortunately I have to go to a different hospital first most days now that is an extra .7 miles away.

Just realized where Fremont is. That's a decent distance from sausalito. Google say an hour but how long do you think it will take with traffic? I will be going to San Rafael to hop on the Richmond bridge then head south.

I'd say it would be an hour and a half. The bay bridge interchange will be the worst traffic.

Yeah I think they changed their name when they opened another location down here in the Southbay, in Cupertion by 85 Degrees Bakery (hmmmm Fresh Bread). The location down here also offers hot pot.

Gah, didn't know about the event. No wonder I inadvertently followed a line of 86ers going onto 880N haha. I was tailing in a DGM BRZ and deuced the line before I had to exit for a dinner. Oh well, next time. :thumbup:

I was looking down the main aisle of cars only to be corrected that there were 2 more rows - I stopped my the mental count, turned to my friend and said dayum, forget it. A successful large meet held! Thanks all!!

It was a bit hard with all the people coming and going, but I counted 9 on top of the 76 somebody else counted plus the 1 AE86 makes at least 86 (plus one Accord, lol).

I'm gonna count the raffle ticket stubs later to see how many people. There were also 16 in Sacramento and it looked like 9 in CenCal. Do you have a count @sdlynx?

Before I forget... on my way to the 86 meet on 880S between North Fremont and Pacific Commons, someone in a silver FRS or BRZ (limited or whatever) was driving like a douche bag weaving through heavy traffic and everything and cutting people off and stuff. If you see this and this was you, don't drive like a douche bag next time. Don't believe me... I'll pull out the GoPro footage and publicly shame you.

Maybe. It was a line that got on 880N from Dixon Landing after passing through on McCarthy Ranch. The last car was white and had a GoPro on a stick held out from the passenger window (thanks for filming my dirty BRZ for a few seconds haha).

I saw you. There were a few of us, that was our buddy's passenger filming. I was in the stock WRB :)
