RE XXX 6.5" speakers
 

I have a set of RE xxx 6.5" component speakers and an amp in my miata, but I rarely ever use the stereo in my miata so I was considering taking them out and putting them into my BRZ. Would speakers this size fit anywhere in my car (they are very deep speakers)? Or would I be in custom enclosure territory. Also would it be possible to use the amp/speakers with a stock head unit and be able to tune it correctly? I know it's possible with a subwoofer but im not sure how it would work with mini woofers. I'm no audiophile or audio expert by any means :bonk:

You can fit them in your doors or rear speakers, both require some custom work. For the front doors, you can go to http://www.subaruaudio.net/subaru-sp...nd-scion-fr-s/ and Patrick can make a spacer for you at a good price(I paid $36 for my 6.5's). The rear, I just took a rectangular piece of mdf and cut hole for my 8" midwoofers and screwed them on.
