thinking of car finance

Most will agree that cash is king. Most will also admit however that they don't have the means to do this. This leaves one option, a car loan. There are a number of different options and ways to approach financing your dream car. I am looking for what is best car loan for me. Actually 5 months from now, I can buy my dream car without the help of car finance.

Whats the question?

If you can afford to pay cash in 5 months, wait 5 months.

not really. i dont think time comes into play since if you can afford it either way you avoid the bulk of the interest as you would just pay it all off in 5 months. it could be a way of building credit if that was really important or you could benefit from accruing some sort of benefit by using the line of credit

Car finance is often also easier to successfully apply for than a standard bank loan. Many people who have bad credit problems are still able to get a car loan and if you are unable to buy a car in any other way then yes car credit could change your life. Becoming more mobile could enable you to apply for better jobs further afield, for example.

Built the bulk of my current credit standings off my Jeep and Evo loans.

Now I'm sitting pretty. Really, if I had the cash to buy the FR-S outright I'd still finance at as low a rate as I can get and then put all the money into a separate checking account out of which I would have the payments deducted automatically.

Yea, I'd pay interest but I'd consider it a cost associated with further building credit.

Then, if at any point I needed to clear myself of that debt in order to position myself for something else I'd just pay it off.
