After reading on the forums about how people got their overpipes out, mine was surprisingly easy. Once the heat shield was removed I was able to slide it out the front. It was easy to remove and reinstall. I was unable to get the top part of the heatshield on the frontpipe side back on because of the bolt I had to put in.

I took off the heatsheild the first time. But the next time I found it was easier and faster to remove the passenger side motor mount nut and Jack the engine up. Mucho easier.
