Do you currently have a Kraftwerks Supercharger installed? I have a few questions

[I dont want to read through all of the posts on the owners thread. I have a few simple and to the point questions that could be answered with a yes or a no.

1. are you happy with the kit?
2. was it worth it?
3. have you had any issues with the kit?
4. have you had any issues with your car (since kit was installed)?
5. are you satisfied with the performance gains?

thats it. real simple. if anyone feels like answering then i thank you in advance.] :thanks:

EDIT: if you wouldnt mind, please list the Vendor you got it from ;)

1. Yes
2. Bought during groupbuy, so yes
3. Nope nothing has failed or caused issues.
4. Gas mileage went down as I developed a lead foot
5. Yes, I'm no longer the slowest sportscar out there. Plus the option to upgrade to the larger blower, should keep my horsepower hunger satisfied for a long time. If not, sell the car and try to find a good used evo X

KW doesnt make superchagers.

They utilize a Danish built compressor with their own adapter.

They also use a cog (toothed) belt which Rotrex does not recommend using.

There are not many track users that show up at the track, beat the crap out of their car, then drive home.

But, I hear its a half decent kit.

I drive hard at the track with my KW kit, in fact I have couple track days this weekend (Friday and Saturday) so far so good..KW kit is the only FI option I would consider for track use and the reason why I purchased my car ..;)

To the OP, see my build, I have purchsed my car in March and attended about 5 track days in the last couple months (first two events stock, and 3 with the KW kit) will be doing couple more track days this week and most likely attend another 7-8 track days this season, that's 15-16 events in one season.. Soo, I'm not sure how many people see that many track days in one season (especially with a FI car) but I didn't run into any issue so far, I well maintain my car and datalog as much as I can FYI

BTW, where did you hear that Rotrex doesn't recommend the cogged belts?

SmsAlSuwaidi 07-11-2014 04:27 AM

I heard a shit load of crap about it, to the point the owner threw it away and is going turbo
