Not entirely sure at this point. It definitely is something that has crossed my mind in regards to an upgrade. I just personally haven't looked into the gain differences to see if it's worth it.

Just curious if you debated the innovative kit at all over the vortech

I debated quite a few kits honestly. MAPerformance's turbo kit, innovate kit, and Jackson Racing as well. In the end, Vortech just ended up being my best option.

All of the kits had pros/cons. To me, the Vortech kit just had more to offer than the Innovate kit. I wasn't really a fan of the no intercooler version and I didn't really see much info about the intercooled option.

I also just personally preferred the engine bay look for the Vortech kit.

It also made sense simply because of the hands on experience that we've had with the Vortech to choose that as my option.

Heres a couple of shots of the kit that I managed to get in while working.

Last photo is after a dusty BigNW Subaru Show so excuse the dust!

I will get a video up as well once that is done.

So far I am absolutely in love with the power that the kit has provided. It's very responsive and just feels awesome. Only negative so far is simply just a personal issue. I'm not the biggest fan of the constant release of the recirc. valve just because it can get a tad annoying while cruising (sounds like air is constantly being released). However, I absolutely love the sound that the it produces after you WOT then release :D

Really looking forward to doing more to the car and maybe even the kit as mentioned above by @AZFA20.

The install is already done :) I have a few pics that I'll upload once I get some time. I've been really busy planning for BigNW on Sunday, so that's priority #1.

It's good to see you are running this kit for selfish reasons.
I have tried two other tuning options aside from Jeff's Vortech flash to test differences, including Delicious SD tune with Denso MAP.

I am back to Jeff's tune because of solid trims and smooth throttle response. (I also trust it and its conservative) but the other tunes are definitely stronger up top and make about 28HP more at 7200RPM. The Delicious SD tune after about 6500RPM just tears through the RPM where the Perrin tune just kind of falls flat

Do you see him doing any more development on the kit using SD etc or is he done?

We have never tuned on anything other than 92 octane. Being as that you have 93, which is way better, makes sense on the extra power that you got with the other tunes.

I believe tuning is done until we get my car back onto the dyno and maybe make a tweak or two. Not sure of much past that point.

Thanks for response, looking forward to seeing how you wind up liking it over time. Being that you have in house support should make tinkering much more fun.

Yeahhhhh I have car ADD. It was a great car for the 9200 miles that are on it lol. Not entirely sure on what I want next. I've fallen in love with a 2011 550i, but I doubt I actually pull the trigger on that.
