that wing looks badass

SpeedyJay 07-08-2014 02:51 AM

Damm I was a little on the fence about that wing, but wow that things a beauty. Really suites how the car was styled too.

Ammunition 07-08-2014 02:57 AM

Your car looks so good man! I wasn't really a fan of the SARD wing in the few pics I've seen it in, but your pics show it in a lot more detail than the others and it looks great. IMO the roof just needs to be wrapped to tie it all together

Lavalover 07-08-2014 08:37 AM

How does the wing attach? Drilled holes at edges of trunk, or some sort of clamp arrangement?

Nice.

sshole 07-08-2014 08:40 AM

Can someone rehost on something other than facebook? imgur, perhaps?

Yeap I was not sure how I would like it but holy crap as much as I am not a wing person this have changed my preference for sure. The biggest thing is the wait, they have folks in Japan to make to order in so many styles. Takes about 2 months to fully make.

sshole 07-08-2014 04:38 PM

Close enough, I suppose... damn work filters.

You should get on their list of people who are allowed a little bit more access.

I'm on a different list, but you should aim higher.

kanundrum 07-08-2014 04:58 PM

My guess is you are on the @sshole list.

Redlinedfrs86 07-08-2014 05:40 PM

looking good @kanundrum !

Kiske 07-08-2014 10:23 PM

IDK why but, every time I see this Sard wing I think of a mechanical/air-brake spoiler in the raised position. :D

Yah its standard pricing for such a item. Hand Made by the boffins over in Aichi-ken, Japan

l8apexr 07-14-2014 03:16 PM

Mine is on it's way soon. How sturdy are the clamps? It says it's a drill less wing. Which is unbelievable for me. How does it attach?

Maniak_ 07-14-2014 03:29 PM

This may be the first wing I actually like. It's not too over the top, yet it flows with the shape of the car pretty damn well.
Nice car you have there bud.

tennisfreak 07-14-2014 04:08 PM

Saw the wing and was like  and

Saw the price and was like :confused0068:

then like

wahsaihin 07-15-2014 02:29 AM

would this fit with the BRZ oem spoiler still on or one of the aftermarket lip spoilers (stillen, five axis, etc.)?

So far sturdy, the installation process is a bit confusing cause its in japanese but you should be able to get the hang of it, again its super sturdy with 0 wiggle and fits OEM spoiler's from what I can tell.

It looks like it will fit Lip Spoilers just fine.

Covo_86 07-20-2014 10:38 PM

would you mind doing me a big favour at your convenience and measure the distance from the edge of the trunk to the beginning of the wing's feet? that would be greatly appreciated and would help me see if i can fit this wing on with oem rear wing still on or if i will need to look at an aftermarket lip (want to cover up the holes left by oem wing). thanks in advance.

Looks very nice! Expensive but seems like its well worth it. I especially like the idea of the clamp design.

hmong337 07-27-2014 08:05 PM

l8apexr 07-27-2014 08:40 PM

Where does this go!!??? It's the only thing left over

kanundrum 07-28-2014 12:33 AM

You need that to clamp on...

l8apexr 07-28-2014 09:06 PM

Where does it to though? So far I clamped the wing on without them. The dowels don't fit the holes for these two pieces.

Hyper4mance2k 03-22-2015 05:16 PM

Any driving impressions on the SARD wing, @kanundrum?

Found these pics online. Seems like the piece you are talking about.
