Had hell of time installing this wing and I couldn't find an answer to this question any where online. For those wondering, the rectangle piece with the 2 pins sticking out, it goes in the bracket the two pins will stick out facing towards the bottom through the holes, the three pointy screws will go into the holes on the rectangular piece, they will not go through but will force the bracket to clamp. I was an idiot at first and thought the pointy screws were suppose to dig into the trunk lid. DONT DO THAT. WITHOUT THE RECTANGULAR PIECE IN QUESTION THE TRUNK WILL NOT CLOSE PROPERLY.

It clamps onto the trunk obviously it wont provide the equivalent down force as something that bolts onto the trunk or even the chassis but there is noticeable differences especially when it comes to oversteer/grip. Rear end is definitely more planted and I want to say it helped on some tight corners at NCCAR at least for my driving style. As example without the wing I would snap over steer out of a sharp turn and loose control, with the wing (tested 2 weeks ago) I had 0 issues. Could be mental could be real life either way though don't expect to offer the results of a Voltex Wing or something along those lines.
How can you adjust the angle? All pics I have seen seem to have one single hole for the angle. I might be wrong.

the "hole" where the adjustable bolt/nut goes is actually slightly notched for 3 different preset angles. the sard replicas are just one long "hole" where the bolt/nut installs simply by torquing it down.

I am guessing it will slide on that long hole to adjust the angle

for the rep wings yeah thats how it gets adjusted. on the actual sard wing, the bolt only fits in 3 preset angles.

Just wanted to chime in again on this thread since I did a few track days with the Vortech supercharger with and without the wing.

At Thompson Speedway, there's a small hill at the beginning of the main straight coming out of the last turn. With the wing on I'm consistently able to go full throttle over the hill without losing traction to the rear wheels. Without the wing, the rear wheels get VERY loose going over the apex of the hill to the point where I have to lift off the throttle in order to keep the car under control.

TL;DR This wing provides noticeable downforce to the rear wheels on track

I'm curious if this will fit with the OEM Scion wing too, but just looking at the mounting points, I doubt it fits the scion wing, but could fit with the BRZ wing. I'm not sure how good it would look tho.

Owners of the genuine version of this wing: Are the holes on these bolts/rivets hex shaped so they can be unscrewed or are the holes round so the bracket shouldn't be removed?

i didnt drive my car today but i can check when i get home tonight from work. im almost positive the brackets were riveted on and arent removable (besides grinding off the rivet head)

I think as long as the connection is rigid enough to maintain the wing's angle of attack then it doesn't matter how it's connected.

each bracket has 6 rivets that can't be removed unless grinded down or drilled out.

Hi guys,

Just finished installing it myself. I don't know if it is just my bad install or the trunk now has a more "clunk" sound to it when closing it and I do notice that I have to use a bit more force in closing it. Anyone else?
