Anyone know of a quality 4-channel security camera system on the market?

My car was keyed pretty badly a few days ago, so I've been looking into getting a good security camera system. My driver door was keyed so a 2 channel front/back camera won't cut it. It might seem a bit overboard to want a 4 channel system but I don't want to walk up to my car again to see it scratched up like a few days ago, or at least know who the jackass was who did it.

I found this one:
http://www.vizualogic.com/smartviewt...ra-system.html
but it doesn't look like it supports motion triggered recording.

Anyone know of any good 4ch or "360" systems?

:thanks:

You could get 2 dual camera setups: (BlackVue Wi-Fi DR550GW-HD)
Use 1 main camera for the front, one for the rear, mount the 2 smaller camera's on the rear side windows...
Should work and not look to bad, you only need one power magic pro module.
Wiring to the camera's can be done easily under the roof liner.
The tough did cross my mind to do a setup like this myself...

I like that idea and was actually looking at the BlackVue's on eBay. $850 is kinda steep for a camera system but I think it's worth it.

I think I'll end up going that route. I'll post pics when it's done.

:D

i actually do have blackvue wi-fi dr500 gw-hd, two of them
i have first one on the front and 2nd one in the back
i have first one set up w the magicbox pro, but i stopped using it like that after my battery died, i'm not sure why it happened cause i set up my magicbox pro correctly

but ye they cost around 240 dollar on amazon, i'm not sure where you got 850 dollar

i suggest you getting an EXTERNAL security camera, like infront of your parking lot on your house or something, internal camera isn't gonna do much for someone keying your car and such

Keep your eyes open for deals on Amazon, the Blackvue's often go on sale for significantly less than retail

WARNING - :threadjacked: - WARNING

You know what would be great? What if you could take this 4 camera system and rig it to some sort of screen system that would allow you a 360 view around your car as you drive? No blindspot, and no lack of peripheral vision.

Ahhh, its good to dream
