Didn't see this posted yet (I even searched!), but if it was please feel free to digitally burn me at the stake.

Some rolling HD footage. Yes, a bit advertise-y, but it works.

Makes me not regret going with WRB :)

On the other hand, the person singing 'doooo oooo oooo oooooooooo oooo' makes me want to go and wrap his mouth with duct tape.

man, that color grading is horrible and cheesy... (the cheap effects don't help either)

Hope he paid cash, because from what I can tell, he's going to lose his job, and his wife/girlfriend so he's gonna need the car to have a place to live!

Nice views though.

Maybe I'm missing something but the ad just made it seem like men will ignore everything else and just drive this car, and not in a good way. Poor woman getting stood up on a date, and that poor doggie just wanted to play :(

i didnt even pay attention to anything but the driving scenes. dog? woman? oh man. it's happening

Chenslee 05-25-2012 01:05 PM

I was on board for this car, but seeing what it does to your life, I just can't let this happen to me. I think I'm going to use my down payment to buy some blow. At least it will be over sooner.

That was a cool commercial... except that he isn't a real man if he ignores all his responsibilities just to drive an awesome car.:paddle:

Aside from that, he has some nice roads to drive on.:happy0180:

Love the part with the doggy. This car is so evil. Lets all boycott it.

I swear, every time Subaru puts out a video for the BRZ, I feel as if they're teasing me, since I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. Curse you Subaru!!!

Excellent video, thanks for sharing!

That commercial was...refreshing.

We live in such a gynocentric age that the mere thought of making a woman the least bit uncomfortable seems like Primary Offense #1. Punishable by no less than the utmost of social ostracizing, and the sky is the limit from there. I for one am tired of it. No offense to the fellas on this thread, but look at the some of the responses already. (Though to be fair, some of them are actually in jest )

What's wrong with a commercial that invites a man to forget about the world for a bit, and go on a leisurely ride? I think it's great that somebody had the balls to shoot a commercial that says, " Oi! Hold on there, buddy, how about you focus on you for a change, and not work or a woman, eh?" Maybe it's because I work so much, but that commercial really appealed to me. I also liked the music to boot.

And Hey! How about that!!! A commercial where the man is not some fat, dumb lummox who can't tell shit from shine, and needs his woman to swoop in a save him from his own stupidity. That's a concept I haven't seen on TV since... well... the turn of the century, actually. :respekt:

All these japanese videos have such low camera views so the car looks much bigger than it is. Wonder why they would do that, it looks huge in this commercial

That statement sums up my feelings perfectly! I will choose going for a good drive over pretty much anything.

Could be why I don't HAVE a girlfriend of course, but.....haha

I can relate. Sometimes all we need is something escape life to rejuvenate and return feeling brand new again. We might go walking, jogging, play music, biking, etc. that thing we do in life that calms us down and nothing else in the world cares. In this case, Subaru is saying a nice drive in a BRZ will do it for those who love driving. Brilliant.
