Goram frackin' dammit, need body shop recco...

Please recommend a good body shop in PDX. I had to dodge to avoid a car backing out of a parking space and whacked the right-rear quarter panel in front of the wheel. Scrapes and dents.

Perhaps I should have let the car hit me.

FYI, a new, unpainted panel is 630 bucks. Fine excuse for me to get really drunk.

I've always had great work done by Precision Auto Body. They are not cheap, but they have always taken care of my car. Gateway Auto Body also does really good work and great pricing!

Totally agree about Precision Auto Body. I used to work at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and they were one of the main shops we worked with and did great work for their customers and stand behind their work.

Stay away from Main auto body

DAMN!!! :( Go through insurance and go through one of their shops. Here in San Diego, since I went through my insurance's shop, it was garanteed to be to my liking. It took 4 times to get it right.

Sorry to hear and good luck.

I haven't had any dents repaired at a body shop, but when the dealership scraped my front bumper on a curb stop during an oil change Precision Auto Body was the shop that repainted the front bumper and it came out perfect - I was so worried about the color matching after all of the horror stories I've read on the forum with paint jobs not matching the rest of the factory paint, but it was a perfect blend and match.

GL getting her fixed up - sucks to have damage happen to your vehicle due to over-compensating for another bad driver that doesn't understand right-of-way or maintaining awareness of what is going on around them, and acting accordingly when they're maneuvering like that.
