Do you have the "rear deck pop" and/or strut-tower bars?

I'm starting to think about addressing the stressed-metal popping noise from the trunk area of my car. I currently have about 8,000 miles on my 2013 Asphalt AT (manufactured in May). The popping noise from my rear cargo area can occur as often as every five seconds on some B-roads.

I've read the related posts, but I'd prefer to build or buy a rear strut bar to fix this problem if there is any evidence that it works.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I put in coilovers, braces, bars, control arms etc and the thing sounds like a bucket of bolts at really slow speeds over slightly pocked surfaces. I hardly notice any longer - kinda goes with the entire metal-on-metal thing.

I highly doubt the rear tower bar would do anything to stop the popping sounds coming from the rear deck.

Agreed. The rear deck is nowhere near where the rear tower bar goes, so it won't do anything to help.

This ^

I used a screwdriver and motorcycle chain lube to relieve the binding in my rear shelf sheetmetal and it hasn't come back.
